United StatesRenewable energy projects developer and owner SolarBank contracted with solar mounting solutions provider Polar Racking to procure its CORE fixed tilt ground mount solar mounting solution and ballasted foundations for the Manlius and Geddes solar projects with a total capacity of 10 MWdc.
The two projects are set to repurpose two closed landfills with targets to transform the contaminated land into valuable assets and generate clean energy.
With more than 14 years in the business, Polar Racking's solar mounting solutions and ballasted foundations are renowned for their quick assembly, robustness and adaptability to a varying terrain of solar projects. It is Polar Racking's innovative ballasted foundation product line designed to securely anchor fixed tilt and tracker solar racking solutions, as well as its extensive experience in serving landfill sites that won SolarBank's endorsement and got the deal.

The Manlius project is developed for Solar Advocate Development and, subject to receipt of financing, SolarBank intends to own and operate the Geddes project.
