Ailey Solar Electric, Inc.

Ailey Solar Electric, Inc. is a leading solar energy company based in Chicago and serving the entire Chicagoland area since 2007. As one of the region’s most established residential solar installers, Ailey Solar specializes in designing and installing high-quality photovoltaic systems for homes, businesses, and non-profit organizations. The company offers comprehensive services including system design engineering, installation of both rooftop and battery storage solutions (notably as a Tesla Powerwall installer), as well as EV charging station installations.
Ailey Solar manages every step of the process in-house—from initial consultation to final installation—ensuring quality control and customer satisfaction throughout each project. Their team handles permitting processes with local authorities and utilities such as ComEd while also assisting clients with securing renewable energy credits (RECs) and taking advantage of federal/state incentives.
The company emphasizes community engagement by promoting clean energy adoption across Illinois through educational outreach and membership in industry associations like the Illinois Solar Energy Association. With flexible financing options tailored to homeowners’ needs—including loans, leases, PPAs—and a reputation for transparent communication during projects large or small, Ailey has become known for reliability within its market segment.
