EnviroSolar Power was founded in 2016 by CEO Abe Issa with the mission to help homeowners transform their properties into self-sustaining solar-powered smart homes. The company specialized in residential solar panel installation and system design across Texas and other states. EnviroSolar distinguished itself by integrating solar power generation with smart home technologies—offering automation features such as surveillance systems, energy monitoring tools, power management solutions, and security enhancements alongside traditional photovoltaic installations.
At its peak performance period (prior to closure), EnviroSolar claimed over 20 MW of solar originated within a year and more than 30 million kWh generated annually for customers—equating to significant environmental benefits like reduced CO₂ emissions. The company also provided free home energy audits without purchase obligations and guided clients through available incentives such as tax credits.
Despite early growth—including being listed among top national residential installers—the business faced mounting complaints regarding customer service lapses and warranty fulfillment issues starting around 2020.
