ETM Solar Works Inc. is a woman-owned family business specializing in the design, installation, and maintenance of photovoltaic (PV) solar energy systems across New York and Pennsylvania. Founded in 1988 as an aerospace consulting firm—hence the name “Extraterrestrial Materials”—the company shifted its focus to renewable energy in 1993. Since then, ETM has installed over 2 megawatts of solar panels throughout New York, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey—enough to power approximately 2000 homes—and operates one of the region’s first community/shared-solar projects for customers without suitable on-site locations.
The company offers comprehensive services including residential rooftop installations, small commercial systems, battery storage solutions such as Tesla Powerwall integration, electric vehicle charging stations, ductless HVAC options for sustainable heating/cooling needs, ongoing system maintenance/cleaning services, consultation on project feasibility/design/financing options as well as honoring all manufacturer warranties with an additional 10-year workmanship warranty on their installations.
