Laibach Solar LLC was a solar energy solutions provider based in El Dorado Hills, California. Founded in 2014 and incorporated as an employee-owned company, Laibach specialized in designing and installing advanced solar systems for both residential and commercial clients across Northern California. The company developed a reputation for high-quality workmanship and innovative system design—demonstrated through projects such as the installation of a 97kW rooftop solar array at Tigo Energy’s facility using Silfab modules integrated with Tigo optimizers for enhanced performance monitoring. Laibach offered comprehensive services including system engineering, installation of photovoltaic panels and energy storage solutions (batteries), ongoing maintenance support, and consultancy on maximizing return on investment from renewable energy systems.
The company was also recognized as an SGIP registered developer in California—a designation relevant to battery storage incentives—and held all necessary contractor licenses during its operation period. However, due to unsustainable market conditions impacting its business model throughout 2024, Laibach Solar ceased operations effective October 1st that year.
