Robco Electric, Inc.

Robco Electric, Inc., established in Las Vegas in 1997 by master electrician Rob Kowalczik, is a locally owned and operated electrical contractor with a strong focus on solar energy solutions. The company has built a reputation as one of the highest-rated solar installers in the Las Vegas Valley by providing custom-designed rooftop solar systems for both residential and commercial clients. Their diversified expertise extends beyond solar to include comprehensive electrical contracting services—such as low voltage installations for fire alarms, security systems, data cabling, and more—which has allowed them to remain resilient even during industry downturns that saw many competitors exit the market.
Robco Electric’s team brings decades of hands-on experience to every project—from initial design through installation and ongoing maintenance or troubleshooting. They are known for transparent bidding practices, reliable timelines, quality workmanship, and exceptional customer service; notably they have never had a complaint filed with the Nevada State Contractors Board throughout their history. In addition to serving homeowners seeking energy independence or lower utility bills via rooftop PV systems (with or without battery storage), Robco also supports large-scale commercial projects—including schools (notably Clark County School District), government buildings, medical facilities, distribution centers like Amazon’s North Las Vegas hub—and offers emergency electrical services around the clock.
The company played an active role in advocating for favorable state legislation supporting rooftop solar adoption after regulatory setbacks impacted Nevada’s market; this advocacy helped restore jobs within its own workforce post-legislation. With thousands of successful installations across Southern Nevada since its founding—and recognition such as “Best of the Best Company Award Winner”—Robco continues to be trusted by both individual homeowners and major institutions alike.
