Solar Energy Systems, LLC (SES), founded in 1998 and headquartered in Brooklyn, New York, is a leading integrator of commercial solar electric systems serving the Northeastern United States—including New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Massachusetts, and Pennsylvania. SES specializes in providing turnkey solar solutions for commercial and industrial clients as well as nonprofit organizations and government agencies. Their comprehensive services span every stage of the project lifecycle: from site analysis; design; engineering; permitting; financing options such as PPAs and leases; to construction/installation by licensed professionals.
The company also offers robust operations & maintenance services with an in-house team managing over 60 MW of installed capacity across more than 230 completed projects. SES has been recognized for outstanding performance by NYSERDA—the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority—and was the first clean-tech investment by the NYC Investment Fund. Their staff includes NABCEP-certified installers and they are approved contractors for major regional incentive programs. In 2011 SES launched SES Renewable Assets to further expand their financing capabilities.
