Titan Solar Power

Founded in 2013 in Mesa, Arizona by David Williamson and Kyle Beddome, Titan Solar Power rapidly grew to become one of the largest residential rooftop solar contractors in the United States. At its peak, Titan operated across 16 states—primarily throughout the southern U.S. and East Coast—and completed over 33,000 residential installations. The company’s business model relied heavily on partnerships with independent sales organizations (“dealers”) who sold systems under the Titan brand; Titan itself managed all aspects of installation and project execution.
Titan was recognized for its high installation volume and broad service area but faced persistent criticism regarding customer service quality due to its dealer-based sales structure. This led to communication gaps between customers and installers as well as inconsistent experiences across regions. Despite holding an A+ BBB rating at one point and employing NABCEP-certified technicians using reputable equipment brands like Silfab, LG Chem, Enphase, Q Cells, Generac among others, mounting operational challenges culminated in bankruptcy.
On June 13th, 2024—after failed acquisition talks—Titan announced it would cease operations immediately. Existing warranties from Titan are now void; third-party providers such as EnergyAid have stepped in to offer ongoing maintenance for affected homeowners.
