Vis Solis, Inc.

Vis Solis, Inc., whose name means "the power of the Sun" in Latin, is a solar energy company based in Franklin, Tennessee. Founded in 2010, Vis Solis has established itself as an experienced provider of state-of-the-art energy systems for both roof-mounted and ground-mounted photovoltaic installations. The company initially operated as an EPC/developer but later transitioned to focus on pure development and consulting services within the solar sector.
In response to evolving market demands, Vis Solis formed a joint venture with Brown Construction called TVAEnergy to serve as an EPC contractor specifically targeting the Southeast U.S. market under this new brand name. Notably, during its transition year in 2016, TVAEnergy installed two 1 MW projects that were originally developed by Vis Solis Inc. The company has also been involved in significant clean energy projects such as developing a 1 MW solar array at Oak Ridge’s East Tennessee Technology Park—a project contributing renewable power to over 130 homes while supporting regional reindustrialization efforts led by public-private partnerships with entities like DOE’s Oak Ridge Office of Environmental Management.
Vis Solis continues to provide expertise across all phases of solar project development—site assessment, design consultation, permitting support—and leverages strategic partnerships for large-scale implementation.
