Wells Solar & Electrical Services LLC was a family-owned solar energy contractor based in Austin, Texas. Founded in 2014 by Carl Wells, the company quickly became one of Texas’ leading residential and commercial solar installers. Over its operational years, Wells Solar completed more than 7,500 installations across Central Texas with over 17 megawatts of generating capacity deployed by a team that included four master electricians overseeing every project for quality assurance.
The company was recognized as a top turnkey residential installer—voted #1 in Texas—and featured on the Inc. 500 list (#207) as one of America’s fastest-growing companies. It held certifications such as Tesla Energy Installer status and maintained an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau.
Wells Solar offered comprehensive services: from initial consultation through design/engineering to installation and ongoing maintenance—including advanced offerings like Tesla Powerwall battery backup systems and EV charger installs.
